Today I lost a good and dear friend to that stinking disease, he was such a fun ,friendly person, and I miss him already,there is a huge empty spot inside of me . The fun we had the stories we told,gone. He fought it off once,but 4 years later it came back with a vengeance,and ate him away to nothing. Ricky Cantolina ,you were one of the most super humans that ever lived,I will remember you till its my time to go to the next level.

Horrible way to go. My dad fought it off once and lived another 5 years, same story when it came back. Up and around Christmas, wasted away to skin and bones and dead by the end of February. He never smoked, ate right, very active and fit as a fiddle. Just fate I guess, no rhyme nor reason to it..

If a person was cynical and jaded enough, they might think there was more money in "looking" for a cure than in actually "finding" a cure.

 

never go for the alternative cures, please folks. they really, really do not work.
