I'm told that the engine bumper has a highway peg attachment that will replace it coming out this year.

They will have one for test ride in April, He said I could take it when they open and return it at closing.

Not sure about the Root Beer color, but this is my "old man" bike also. Pretty sure it will tow a trailer without even breaking a sweat.

He went from quite a few HDs for many years, to BMW to the Honda.

That new rebuild is amazing. Lost a lot of weight and a lot of girth up front. Feels right nice on the showroom floor.

I've been looking at the CB 1100 EX for my old mans bike. A nekkid UJM to relive my misspent youth on, except I had a Kawasaki at the time. But no matter, it's still a big 4 cylinder Japper so close enough.

I've been going down the list of bikes I'd like to have and kind of ticking them off as I go, The ST 1300 was pretty appealing, as well as the Versys 1000 LT but the reality is I'm kinda' over the bags and windshield and fairing and electronic everything.

The CB has fuel injection and ABS, that's enough fancy pants shit for me really I think.. Back to basics and all.

I like that the Guzzi isn't seen everyday, but I wonder whether it's reliability and small dealer network may lead to unintended adventure while the Wing would just keep riding along.

Plenty. That doesn't mean I have. I have both a Honda and a Guzzi dealership within 45 minutes of me ready to take either for a test. Both places want me to ride it to New York and back. (3 hours rd trip)
