It's snowing again

So, with fresh snow falling this morning and a ten day forecast of highs below freezing, I sadly winterized the Little Red Ninja.  I also gave her a light cleaning and tucked her away in the back of the garage, all snuggled up to her trickle charger.  She seemed resigned to her hibernation until April.  And the snow blower is now ready for service and at the front of the garage.  Such is life in the Northern Plains.

Yikes!  Stay warm.   Another reason I don't live in ND.  I need to winterize the ski boat sometime soon but fortunately the bikes are ridden year round down here.   

And congrats on your retirement (I saw your signature line).

I see that the forecast for back home in ND is for snow, and that most of the northern mountain states have already had or will be getting snow. Ya'll have my sympathies. Stay strong!

People at my new home in the Milwaukee suburbs really just don't seem to get it when I tell them that I've moved south for their mild winters.  They think I'm joking until I explain in detail the difference between a southeastern Wisconsin winter and a North Dakota winter.  They get negative 25F for a low and talk about it all year. We'd get negative 25F for a high and it's just another day in January.

Meh, snow and ice today and tomorrow, but close to 60 for next weekend so stil dirt bike season here!
