Bob Mielke wouldn't even approve of this no photos ride report...

10 weeks and 4 days after breaking my leg, I got back on the horse and took my 530 for a lap around the neighborhood. And it was good... Really Really Good.

The 530 needed a new battery and clean air filter, so I did that stuff today while it was really nice out and fired it up. Throwing a leg over it felt good, so I thought, "WTF" and popped into first and away I went. Did a long lap of the neighborhood. I think I might have actually LOL'd. Wifey was not amused, but she'll get over it.

No first ride on the Super Duke yet. But the greater seat-to-peg distance and light weight of the 530 means it'll be the bike for the next few rides (as weather permits). It's no longer "are you going to ride again?" but "when am I going to ride NEXT". Game On!
