A wise uncle told me: flying birds have dark breasts and wings, walking birds have dark legs and thighs. I really have not looked to compare, but I do have low car insurance.

They "were" dark meat. Now, it's difficult to find commercially raised Chicken with any dark meat at all.

I boil small chickens on a regular basis. Mainly for soups & casseroles.

I paid an extra dollar for all white meat with my ribs and quarter chicken combo over the weekend, and it was a breast and a wing, confirming my belief that wings are...
