Here's the story on Slayman's bike. When he was thinking of purchasing a ZZR Slayman joined the ZZR forum. This particular bike was owned by a good member of that forum and had an accident on it and died. There wasn't much damage to the bike so one of the other members took the bike and repaired it. The ZZR forum sold off raffle tickets for the bike and Slayman won it. All the proceeds went to the the member's family. Slayman still shows up at the ZZR meets and his participation on that very forum means the a lot to the forum. I certainly thought this was worth sharing with folks.
Scott, Doug and I are at a hotel in Lewisburg WV. We hit a nasty storm 10 minutes before we got here, otherwise we had another great day. Looking forward to more WV goodness on our way home tomorrow.
Made it home safely. All good.
Pulled in home about ten minutes ago.I drove through big rain from 10:30 - 16:00, then another big rain here on the Canadian side.Everything is nice and clean from the rain, except for a crazy stain on the back of my bike???
We might be thinning the garage a bit if you like the 6th gen
Just wanted to thank our hosts one more time. Mr. and Mrs. Virginian were great, the accommodations were terrific, and I for one truly felt welcome.
