Dam I had coffee with Jason today and forgot to ask him about this.

When we were talking he was saying he had a better teaching offer in another school district. So i figure it would be on hold until he knows what's going on.

I haven't forgotten about this.

My point of contention is using the facility after giving notice to the school that I'm leaving.
I got RIF'ed because of union negotiations but my boss said (no written confirmation) I'll be hired back this fall.
The way younger teachers are treated is abysmal and I see why so many give up.
I am waiting for the official offer from district 225.

I don't have much going on at my garage here in Mundelein but I could assist in someone's real garage.

I'd offer my two car attached garage in the burbs, but Thats exactly what it is. I have no lift and am seriously lacking in tools. Not really a great option...  Likely worth waiting.

But if there's no other option, and people can brother own tools and what not, I'm game. Will have to get agreement from the wife, but I expect she'd be cool with it.

My garage is a lil larger (three bays, kinda), and the pad out front of it is commodiouos.

I've got a lift, actually two (one lift table, one that fits under the frame) . . . .

I'd have to start tonight, getting it squyared away, though ;-}

Just sayin
We had two bags of grass, 75 pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get locked into a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.

I'd gladly help you get it squared away, and I'd say your tool bench is much better equipped than my, well, my tool box.

You know I'm interested, but don't necessarily need a tech day to do what I want to do...

But again, if we're doing it at Bombers, I'll gladly help clean out the lab.

Bomber,

For the sake of simplicity, I can stop by tomorrow night (Saturday) and help out if there is time and motivation present.

Jon has plans for today that impede moto fixdom.  Dan, why not buy a full set of tools off craigslist with a toolbox.  ;)

I have a 20 year old metric socket set, Allen wrenches, screw drivers and lots of driver bits, a hammer drill if we want to get all Shervin...

Have wire cutters/strippers and some heat shrink tubing in various sizes. What else do we really need? I have an oil pan and one if those cap filter wrenches...

I'm game. I'll bring it up to wife tonight. But John's lab blows my suburban garage out of the water for bikes...

I also have a soldering iron and some solder that I knowniownto use thanks to John as well.
