Personally, I'm giving up incandescent bulbs for the new year. How 'bout y'all?

I am aiming for 1,000 miles on my bicycle in 2014 and to love (or at least tolerate) running. Tonight's 5K was a good start!

My resolution is to lose 35 lbs. My wife want to lose a few too. For that we both started the Nutrisystm program. We started on Monday. So far so good. The food is better than I expected.

I'm not much for setting a date to start making changes but I think this year I'll work harder on being more private. I'm far too forthcoming with how things are going when folks ask.

So it'll be "Fine, how are you doing?" assuming I can get away from being so technical

I disagree. At the start of every year I'll lose 30-35 pounds. Then summer comes & I become busy w/ boats, motorcycles, guns & women & working out &/or running slowly starts dwindling. Then by fall/winter I become used tonot working out &/or running that iI'll put back on another 30-40lbs. Then New Years comes & I'll set another goal to lose weight! As far as clothes go, I put my hanging clothes & coats in closets & the foldable clothes go in dresser drawers. Happy New Year dork! Cheers

Ah, yes, the dreaded New Years resolution thread.

1/1/2014. Got up, showered, did 25 sit ups, put on clean clothes and walked down the hall to the oldest daughters room, opened the door and woke her up at 11 AM. She has 6 hours to get up, clean up, pick up ,and clean her room that I told her to clean 2 weeks ago. And I now told her she turns 21 this year. Don't do what I say, and its out. She is no longer a tax deduction, but a liability.

Going to Harbor Freight and getting the knife sharpener I want with MY money.

Coming home and working on the 7 gun projects to be completed and sold and MY slush fund.

5 PM is coming. We'll see. I may have a spare room by nightfall.

2014. I HAVE HAD ENOUGH.
