Correct DD, I didn't take it as a whatever thread, if I was wrong then I am sorry for the comment.And I feel that seperate thread listing MTSA events and info would have better served everyone.

Once again then, I apologize.  When I get on any of these forums I just push the ‘unread’ link, and when I did that the title I saw was “2018 Events”.  I didn’t pay any attention to what section the thread was in and didn’t notice that it was in the STO EVENTS section.  My mistake, I’m sorry.  I’ll make sure to double check before doing any more postings.

Depending on my situation next year, I'd be up for something either West Coast or Rockies. Hopefully I'll know better by next Spring.

Since Region 6 struggles to barely muster two events
a year maybe it’s time to consider a different approach
or at least entertain other ideas. JS

So, if there are non-STo events in your region, you should peruse that region. Or you can slog through every page in this thread if you are up for a ride and your region doesn't have it listed. Or, you could go the region that you might want to visit and see if there is anything listed. Or, if you have some vacation time to ride with, but you have no idea what direction you want to go, slog through every post in this thread. If you only want to attend STo events, there is a section for that. Or just check this thread, all the regions and the events section, because if you don't read (and remember) every post every time you log in it may not show as unread (especially as a reply) you may not notice you didn't read it. Simple, eh?

But for sure, next year I'd like to ride OHIO.  Maybe weekend of May 6?   Mother's Day is May 13.

In my perfect little world (which is really quite small), this thread would serve to merely list the events. Each post would be its separate event.

Discussions about specific events would be hosted on their own thread, probably in either the region or (more appropriately), the ST.O Rallies & Meets thread. Which is where this is currently located. 

This seems more like a thread for people to discuss (bitch) about upcoming (yet unplanned) events, but nobody actually stepping up to plan any events.   

The one person who provided a list of planned events was publicly flogged.

I'm basically never going to read a whole consolidated threat for events. Event per thread lets me find what I want. Is that really what's being discussed?

Anyway... I posted for a tech day here in region 6 couple months back.

No one showed from ST.N/.O, but I had a great turn out from posting it on Facebook.

Never saw it. I must not have read every single new thread that day.

I believe if someone wants to start a thread to make us aware of a meet or event that's not an "official" STO event, I'd post it under ST.O Rallies & Meets.

There are too many states which border regions and I would hate to miss out on an event in a neighboring region that I could attend. 

Sure, I'm a "Unread" crack button person, but I miss things or can't always remember where I saw the thread.
