If you strap the wheels, don't be surprised by a potentially unsettling amount of movement in your mirror. That's for the front.

For the rear, I'd probably be fine w/ strapping the wheel tho I've not done it.

I can't see pics. ~~Are you going to chock the wheels at all? I just screwed a couple chunks of 2x4 on the front so I could set the front wheel in there. Same with the rear. Peace of mind.~~

Edit. I see your comment about a chock purchase.

I can see the trailer pic..and with the wheel stand you are good to go, bike's not going anywhere...just check at every fill up along with touching the trailer hubs to see if they are heating up. A spare trailer tire and a set of bearings (or better yet a complete hub) will go a long way toward peace of mind.

Made it too Attica Indiana. A great ride considering the heat in oh and Indiana. I took wv 50 to 33 up to 70. Tires got a little squared off but better than driving in a car.. that's for sure. Lots of adv bikes on rt 74 Indiana heading east... Man I love West Virginia... 542 miles tomorrow. Then to the border of SD Tuesday night. Probably stop at Black hills national Park to get my first park stamp of the trip and then make it to Rapid City by the evening.. tankhead out..

Badlands is pretty amazing but compared to the others it is a park you can take in pretty quickly.

Funny story that was not funny as it was happening.. last night the humidity was so bad that I could not stop profusely sweating... Set up the tent and at sun down thousands of knats swarmed my tent and would not leave. Lit a fire with lots of smoke to no avail. Got in tent and continued to sweat and swat. It was maddening. Packed up my shit at 10:30 pm and found a cheap hotel down the street.. man was I pissed... Got about 5 hours of sleep...

Camping in Jackson to camping in manila.... 191 South to 44 around the flaming gorge basin.... Someone described it as the Beartooth pass of the area... Then to Grand junction, over the Douglas pass on 139... Unbelievable..
Tomorrow, Colorado national monument. Then down 141 to naturita then up to Moab. Camping in BLM hear dead horse point. Arches the next morning and Capitol reef finish up in Torrey. Cheers. 😁

Colorado national monument in the AM. Grand Mesa just now... Things are just as beautiful as I left them 10 years ago. My goodness, the beauty, and the roads.

We will be getting tires put on Gregg's bike tomorrow and then ride down 141 to Nurita then back up to dead horse point. Those 211 miles should be great...

So we got into Moab... It was hot. Now I knew it would be, and gave Gregg the warning... Stopped to get supplies and water. They had a water spigot there so I drenched my one piece Olympia mesh space suit and headed up to canyon lands. I had been there before but just to get the stamp.. this time we drove the loop.. Shaffer pass looked inviting but we had plans to camp at BLM. Turns out that site is now a pay site so we ended up going to horsethief like I did 10 years ago.. but in the distance I could see a storm developing.... Not giving it too much thought, we registered, paid the $15 bucks and Gregg set up his tent...I waited because it looked like the storm would be hitting within the hour... Being up on a plateau? Check. Having metal tent poles surrounding you as you sleep? Check. Seeing cloud to ground lightning approaching? Check. What could go wrong?

Camped in Bryce for free in the forest... Then camped in the forest for free at Jacob lake... Entrance to the north rim.. haven't showered in three days.. fires in gc caused breathing problems at night in tent... Now in Flagstaff... Hitting South rim in the morning. Hotel till family comes in two days... Riding without the bags tomorrow..... Then the family arrives... I leave my bike at an adv rider's house for 7 days. 5003 miles on the bike for this trip....WOW... What a beautiful country I live in... 'Merica
