Thanks for the vid! Looks like a great ride. Did you have a chest mount for the camera?
I do, but with the Capo I need to use about 8" of extension arm to raise the camera higher than the chest mount otherwise all you see is dash and GPS. On Chris's ZRX (or on any other naked bike) the chest mount alone works great.
I've been playing around with a lot of mounting locations to see what works (vibrations!) and what looks interesting. The side-of-helmet mount is smooth and shows the road well, but corners don't look interesting since my head stays pretty level. The under-tail mount will work well when I have other riders behind me. I'm surprised how much I like the fork view - shows a lot of the road and is pretty stable.
The other low angles (rocks and grate bridge) were done with the gopro suction cupped to one of the side cases. That mount has about a 6" extension arm that just vibrates too much - I stabilized that footage in post and it's still not great. Working on a solution to that.
Glad you enjoyed!
