Ever since I rode my buddies ('08 ? it had round headlights) last year I've been thinking about one for a second bike.
I got to admit it Strips that is one of the better looking ones.
The one I really have my eye on is the Olin's equipped, but at $16,000.00 it's a bit high priced (for me) for a second bike. 
Will we see it at one of the STO meets?
If I decide to continue riding I'll definitely be on it at every meet! Whether I ride it or trailer it, you'll get to see it. It's awesome in person! The BMW is gone & I can't ride the Daytona for more than 5 minutes w/o pain shooting up my spine &/or down my legs & hopefully it will sell soon. I know, why buy a new bike if I'm considering getting out of riding? To put it simply, I have a sickness. I've always wanted another one, I had an '03 955i, & when I saw this one I had to have it. There's 0 miles on the ODO & the tires haven't hit the pavement. I may just keep it like that & park it in the living room next to the Daytona if I end up getting stuck w/ it.
As far as getting your own Speedy, I would suggest getting a nice used '05-'12 non R & upgrade the suspension yourself. It would be a heck of a lot cheaper that $16,000 for you & you can personalize it your own way. Mine is a SE which has everything but Ohlins. But if I know me, I'll probably end up putting Ohlins on the rear at least.
