Might be getting transferred there next summer. Luckily it's a unit on Otis ANG not in downtown Boston.

Flown in a number of times. Enjoyed the stay.

Drove in ONCE... NEVER went near the car the 4 days I was up there and walked/taxied everywhere. After destressing from the last 2 hours trying to get the last 15 miles into the city, THEN I enjoyed the stay.

And no, from my experience, it's most definitely NOT the same as most cities... Manhattan? Yes. Philly, Baltimore...? Way easier. Hell even DC is easier.

I am not a fan of any Boston fan. I'm impartial to the teams.

I believe it's considered the south coast but it only just over an hour south of Boston.

Any "real" hockey fan knows what the "H" is for on the Montreal sweater.

I've been a Devils fan since they moved from Colorado in 1982. I still have my white, red, & green jersey.

Otis is over the bridge on the cape. You haven't seen traffic like a late afternoon Friday in the summer trying to get over the bridge on to the cape. The only thing worse is trying to get off Cape Cod on a Sunday after hotel checkout.

I grew up near there and have friends that live in the on-base housing. It's a really nice area, I loved growing up around there. Not a bad drive to Boston, right up Rte. 3, but the traffic can be a nightmare sometimes. My dad did a Plymouth to Boston commute for 27 years.

Yeah, it's in a great location as far as I'm concerned. It's #3 on my list of ten so I certainly won't be disappointed if I get it.

Plus I grew up in western Pa, so to be back in the northeast again is very appealing to me.
