Bike Wash

Check out this bike wash.  The video is all about the guy crashing the bike afterward, which - is funny as hell - but - damn I wish I had a bike wash like this in town.  Check out their raising platform!

I've ridden past that joint a hundred times but never felt the desire to use it.  Actually, I haven't taken a hose to a motorcycle more than 3-4 times over the last 20 or so years.  My current bike, purchased new in 2004, has never been "washed" but is usually very clean (winter/salt excepted). Spray cleaners rule!

 Funny he warns against bending the rad/cooler fins while he's blasting all kinds of water plus who knows what kind of detergent/wax into his controls/dashboard.

 Didn't anybody notice how dark the road was where he goes down? Looks like a recent diesel spill to me.

That Cloister Car Wash that you linked is in my town and I had no idea that they had bike wash stations.   ??? - Oh wait, I see now it is 20-minutes away in Reading only, which is too far to justify going to instead of using my garage hose.

True Story:  I'm having lunch with my Dad a couple weeks back and our guest makes a comment "That's about as exciting as watching paint dry".

My Dad looks at the guy, dead straight and says "I don't get it".

Guy goes flat, looks around, and just goes silent.  I started cracking up inside.  It was priceless.

My Dad sold chemicals to the paint industry for decades.  He literally used to watch paint dry and freaking LOVED it.
