Seems like a win/win.  NFL looks like it's "doing the right thing" to the soccer moms that watch the Super Bowl.  DD gets tons of free press from the so-called "controversy".


After all, they can pick whatever ads they want to air in that time slot.

The national FOP is trying to get the NFL to lift it's ban on off duty police officers being barred from carrying inside stadiums.  I carried my SIG when I was at a Ravens game and they were very accommodating.  It was impressive.  I never tried in NY or Philly. 

The NFL has become rampant anti-gun in the wake of some of the poor decisions made by players, so I really don't blame them.  Zero tolerance is always the easier way.  No thought needed.

I agree.  Just commenting on the NFL's recent stance on personal firearms, which seemed relevant to the topic of the commercial.
