Okay, to add another thread and get some actual MC content here, how many members ride Honda VFRs?

I have an 2001 VFR and a 2007 VFR ABS that I just bought a week ago.

Edit: I have Givi E360 bags for my 2001. I'm thinking about adding a Givi topcase (maybe V46). I don't have the factory hard bags for the 2007 and I'm also considering buying those. I do have a Kanadian Ken solo-rack that fits a 6th gen so a factory topcase could also be on the horizon. This all may be bag overkill, but at some point the 6th Gen factory bags won't be available.

Edit 2x: I recognize some VFR riders, but thought I add this thread for poops & giggles.

I put 48,000 miles on an '02. Still miss it frequently. I purchased the OEM hard bags from David Silver Spares over in the UK. Even with shipping from across the pond, they were cheaper than buying stateside. I liked the hard bags so much I've mounted them on a Buell 1125R and my current ride, a Daytona 675.

They have a US website now and that is where I'm considering buying them from but they're only available in black which I guess would be okay with Candy Dark Red...they could be painted to match for a fee, but I have no idea how much.

'98 road bike, and a '97 track bike project.

The '98 had the Beetle Bags, and just under 18K on it when I stole it from the second owner just over 4 years ago. Coming up on 72K.

The '97 was somebody else's abandoned project. He swapped the swingarm, and forks for CBR900 units. He did a good enough job, but I've gone back to a stock swingarm for ease of exhaust. At this point it's basically a rolling chassis with engine, and a box full of essential parts. No bodywork. Hoping to get it on the track sometime this year.

I also had a 95 which I rode for 6 years before dinking around Ireland.

How is the fuel injection on your 1200? The one I rode when they first came out tried to kill me. I hope it was just that bike.

Yes, most likely, but I can't remember who all rides VFR...and the Honda forum was a little bare so I thougth this thread wouldn't hurt.

Well, as you might guess by my sign in name, I ride a VFR. 93 Crystal Pearl White VFR to name it. Added Krauser bags for trips.

If we're going to meet up this year, how about somewhere in the middle of the US? Say KC or even Arkansas. Nice roads there in Northwest AR. Its a long way to anywhere from Dallas.

I have a Bazazz fuel system and bazzaz z-bomb installed so it has good manners. Mine was a little abrupt in stock form, but I learned to live with it. I wanted less restriction in the lower 2 gears and better mapping so I opted for some dyno time to smooth out some wrinkles.

Another fellow VFRer chiming in. Love my 07 RWB w/ABS and OEM luggage. It's a shame I don't have much leisure time to really ride it between 2 jobs and family. But I plan on keeping it for a long time yet.

Yellow Y2K VFR here. Love it. CBR929 shock makes ALL the difference on a tight budget like mine.

Cortech soft bags for touring work fine. Small cortech tank bag for the usual running about.

I don't see any reason to replace this bike.

Same here man.

With family stuff going on, I have very little "spare" time nowadays, but I do get out for a semi spirited EARLY morning run on Ortega or Palomar from time to time.

3 kids 11 and under have a way of absorbing lots of daylight hours!
