I had seriously looked at that cartridge as a dual duty deer/varmint gun, but I was worried about the difficulty in finding ammo for it. You can find it at major gun shops, but it's hard to find at your local hardware stores. Of course I could reload, but it would never be shot as much as the 22-250, so I passed. It seemed to much of a cross-purpose gun. Same reason I don't own a .17HMR- between the .22 and 22-250, I nearly have it covered. Maybe later!
