New Tribbles cards came out a couple of weeks ago, so I disassembled all my current Tribbles decks and built one new one. This allows me to avoid any sort of real work, like writing my syllabi for next semester.

I has been riding to work. I gets homes, only to find Er Indoors requires summat from the siop. I goes to the siop and gets it. In my Motoguzzi Norge car wut I buys wit the Motoguzzi fund. A large lorry backs into la carpark and scrapes the car down one side, sees wut it has done and speeds off.

Had all this done all at once (2005). The SyF was done (poorly) by someone else, so when the guy in LA who calls himself "Dark" was doing the "knots" he also touched up the SyF. Not as much coverage as yours but took about 6 to 8 hours.

To go with the one we rescued about 5 months ago (Zoobie) after loosing both our other dogs last year.

We spent a couple hours at the society getting acquainted with Simone and seeing if she got along with Zoobie. They hit it off right off the bat. It was myself and Aura she had a problem with. She was a stray and has been at the rescue for a long time and takes awhile to warm up to people. We spent the night in OH at Hueston Woods park getting used to her and her to us. In 24 hours there was a remarkable improvement in her bonding with us. We got her home last night and Zoobie showed her his backyard and the two of them had a ball. She is such a sweet girl and will hopefully complement the great dog that Zoobie already is. Really happy to have her as part of our little family.

Today I rolled the GSA & Dorso out of the garage and washed them. Took pics of the Aprilia in anticipation of putting it up for sale.

As I was finishing up a guy named Drew from down the road rolled up in his electric golf cart (most everyone in the community has one or an ATV or something to putz around in) and introduced himself. Wound up riding around with him & visiting a whole bunch of folks. Turns out the community has its own fire truck (the closest 'real' FD is some miles away). For $100/year and a little training every couple months it's there for anyone who signs up & pays to use if a brush fire happens to breaks out. Pretty fuckin' cool.

Fixed the rear brakes on the mountain bike. Cleaned up an old but well-preserved hunting rifle. Somewhere in there, I also managed to get some actual work done for the company.

talked to a good friend of mine that works for the State VA Dept. trying to get my Vet Dis points in the system to help me get a job back here in SD. as much as I love the job in WY, I miss my lil girls even more. If all the mess concerning our upcoming house clears up, I won't need the income and I can get a job back here. that will let my wife go back to work and get some use out of her degree. My wife has been jonsing to get a job but would rather do the Mommy job while I'm away for weeks at a time. I agree.

Went to the Colorado DMV to get my drivers license. The wait wasn't long and the process was relatively painless. They took my pic, took my MD license, punched holes in it, then gave it back to me along with a temporary paper document to hold until I receive my permanent license in the mail. Kinda odd since MD DMV issues your laminated wallet-size DL on the spot.

Also unlike Maryland where everything's handled under one roof, in order to register my car in CO I had to go to another office a couple miles down the road. And before that I had to scrounge around for someone to sign off on a VIN verification form. After going to three different used car lots along the way, I found one whose owner had the time and didn't charge me anything for it (the usual fee's $20).
