Not much today.

Laid a block path to the shed, trimmed the bushes, pulled weeds, power washed part of the driveway, and balanced the last 2 months of the check book. (and the check book was the easiest part of the day)

It's 10 AM and I have already replaced one sprinkler head and re-adjusted another, which required digging all the way down to the base. Whatever else I do today will be bonus.

drove to a couple different stores to look at fridges for the wet bar. looks like another $500 going ba bye. and I don't even drink. but dang, does her Dad. and.. we're adding taps too. maybe 2-4 taps. yeah, to say she likes to entertain is an understatement!!!!!

Mowed, cleaned the house, got the grill going with shrimp and steak. Entertained friends. Played a couple of board games. Played guitar. Went to bed.

Spent about 45 minutes lapping a Formula Renault car as part of a racing school experience. That stroked childhood fantasies and checked off a bucket list item. And I wasn't bad.

Drove nearly 3 hours to my brother's house with chainsaws and misc tools in hand. We dislodged some downed trees (using truck and chains) and proceeded to limb them and carry the brush into the woods then cut the remaining wood to length and stacked it up. We even split some of the larger logs in hopes that he'll be able to burn them in his new outdoor fireplace. He's got a very nice couple / few acre lot so it was several hours work but easy work considering. When he offered me a bunch of cash, I said I'd like to start a family pay it forward campaign so I told him to send it to our other brother who needs cash more. After doing the work, we went out to dinner and had pretty decent Chinese. We ended up not getting home till nearly midnight after a nice, uneventful drive home.

(Kevin refused via email and I just got done scolding him for trying to take away my opportunity for kindness and explained to him how pay it forward works. We'll see how that goes.)
