You just need to assume that anything attached to ANY network is being, or can be, monitored.

The privacy ship sailed years ago.
What we need is a "spoofing" app that constantly hits on every other tv manufacturer's sites.
Make LG's data useless...

We had two bags of grass, 75 pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get locked into a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.

Well I have a LG smart TV.  Looks like I am only going to watch super freak stuff so that the wife who actually watches TV will get bombarded with crazy stuff.

I know why this would bother people. I do. But wow, if anyone really gives a damn about what I'm watching, they're going to have to spend years in "how can I recover from this boredom" therapy.
