The officer was initially fired when the video got to his superiors, but the rider who made the video campaigned to have him reinstated and it worked.

Sorry, couldn't help myself.

Went for a ride the other night and a guy crashes right in front of me, bike flips a couple times and he lands on his back in the ditch. He is unconscious but has a pulse and is breathing fine so I have to do nothing but wait for help to arrive. Cops show up with sirens blaring, put gloves on and go to work in an organized and polite manner...how come I never get to see this F(*&in cops behavior in person?

Evidently this deer was hit by a car and messed up- clearly not right.  Anyway, the trooper puts it down, as he should have.  Evidently this is somehow gaining mileage with antis?    (warning- cop shoots deer in the video):

I shit you not.  Back around 1983 or so I got a call to a veterinarians office.  They were closed on a weekend.  Some lady and her 10 year old kid came across a Deer that had been hit by a car.  The lady put her coat down in the back of the Volvo S/W.  Somehow she got the injured Deer into the back of the car and to the vets where she called 911 when she found the place closed.  I told her that I would not call the vet at home and i was going to out the Deer down so she may want to leave with her crying kid.  She argued that it could be saved but finally left when she saw I was not going to change my mind.  BTW.  I saw the jacket and it had a lot of blood on it.  F'n dumbass Mom.

It looks like the f'in cops did everything they could to get the deer to flee and not have to shoot it. One of the bystanders can be heard saying it's leg or something was dangling, and it was acting as if it was injured. I guess the right thing to do would have been to let it suffer and die slowly from it's injuries.

unfortunately most people's version of reality comes from a Disney movie..
 I stopped to help a young lady on the side of the road. she had hit a german shepard and he was obviously badly injured. I tild her I would take care of it and she went on her way. Once she was out of sight I put a bullet in his head and threw him over the fence. I saw her a month later and she asked how the dog was........ I told her he was fine and everyone was happy..
