Funny sounds after shutting down

So as a new Tiger owner, I'm wondering about those sounds coming from the bike after I shutdown and turn off the ignition. It sounds a bit like those old modem screeching sounds.

Nevr had that on any Triumph triple I've had. Check out the owners' site at Triumphrat.

Hey neat site, Papa. Thanks. Checked in with Triumphrat and apparently its the " idle controller motor readjusting."

Huh, I always thought it was my bike reporting another sunny ride from SoCal back to Hinckley  8).

All of my last three triples made that sound.  From my understanding its a shutdown sequence of the ECU or some such.  Idle control motor readjusting should be in the ballpark.

How do you like the Tiger?

Triumphs all have odd sounds. Pulled up next to a friend at a stop light. Through my stock exhaust, through my helmet, through my ear plugs and across a lane of traffic I could hear his triple making some gawdawful sound. He smiled and explained (loudly) that, when running right, they all sound like "spoons in a dishwasher". Made me laugh.

The only sound I get out of the Speed triple when I turn it off is the starter clutch rollers.

My Tiger 800 makes that noise on turning off also.  I asked the dealer when I bought it.  Apparently it's the electronics doing some sort of check before shutting off (I didn't get the who gist of it, but he said it's completely normal and it will happen everytime--I didn't need to hear more).
