Woke up to this. The last snow on Halloween in Chicago was a trace in 1993.

Boy do I remember that dismal day. I was stuck on the Passaic River in Newark waiting for the tide to drop low enough to get under a roadway bridge between us and the dock. This was our from the survey boat

Same here, but with the tractor and the blade. I did my driveway/barn/path to the barn and my neighbor's driveway and pushed all the slush back away- it will be rock hard by morning. It was 31.9 when I woke up, 31 when I started to move snow, and 26 now, an hour and a half later. Single digits by the end of the day.

I am one of the few that actually love it. We got probably 12" in the last 12-14 hours with some blowing and drifting. I love everything about it- as long as its gonna be cold, I'd just as soon be dumped on, even without snowdays.
