Washed it.  Also washed the convertible.  Really trying to bring the rain to my part of California.

Be careful what you wish for.

Doug just might show up.

It's sprinkling right now!  May not come to much.
Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world. It is a way I have of driving off the spleen and regulating the circulation.

Umm-last Friday I finished off what the previous owner had started. He had delinked the brakes but had left the front end seriously underbraked while doing so-not all the pistons worked and one caliper was so rusty (the seal was in the wrong way round) that nothing much happened.

All fine now.

Not much. I swapped out the summer shield for the winter shield.

Mounted the new windshield from Mastad Engineering.  Works like a champ. Almost no buffeting up to 75. Perceived wind noise  is about half of what it was using the old windshield. And I can ride with my face shield up around town quite comfortably.

New rear rubber on the speed 3 and another tank of gas. Silly motorcycle.

Ordered and installed the correct back rest mounts for the Wide Glide.  Installed the back rest bar.  Need to order the pad now.

Spent a few hours chasing down wiring issues on the RZ350 last night. 3 or 4 kicks w/old gas and she fired up. Gotta pull ht e carbs and clean 'em. Soon as the choke is off it becomes difficult to keep it running. It's was wonderful the garage was full of toxic leaded gas and two stroke fumes.

Washed the old dirt off the YZ250 in anticipation of putting some new dirt on it.

Replaced the fuel pressure regulator on the RC51 (and managed to spray petrol on myself doing it).

Idle jumped up 800 RPM immediately. Turned it back down to 1400 and it seems to idle much smoother and without the hunting it was showing.

Hoping this fixes the low-petrol stall when I rolled off. That was exciting...
