I seriously need someone from Ducati to explain why that part costs that much.
Indeed.
It's called markup .

Fixt. (Bosch pump). ;)
If it weren't for the therapeutic properties of the occasional off-camber decreasing radius downhill right-hander I'd almost certainly go completely sane.

I've taken mine for a couple swims today. Still can't make it all the way home through the flooded streets.

Helped Fourstring with his bike. A couple of beers later we had it figured out.

Till the morning comes, it'll do you fine.
Till the morning comes, like a highway sign,
Showing you the way, leaving no doubt,
Of the way on in or the way back out.

Cured the misfire on the TUX. It was the sparkplug. Good grief.

After my forays into flood waters trying to get home last week I thought it might be a good idea change the final drive.  Mission accomplished but the old stuff looked fine.

Project #2 was changing a blown headlight bulb in RT.  What a PITA.  After dropping one bulb into the fairing and futzing with trying to get the new bulb in place with no success, I stopped and took a breather.

Second try was more futzing  but finally got the bulb in place. Hooked the lead and fired up the bike. Only to find the light was still out.  That's when I realized I managed to reinstall the old bulb :-(

Finally got it on third try.

I blew the dust of it (literally) and rode it to and from a meeting today.

I remember when I used to go on long rides.

Maybe I'll sell it too.
Feels like I've been here before, fuzzy then but still so obscure........
