With a low of 3° tomorrow accompanied by ice and snow I think that's the most movement it will see for a few days.

That's what we had last night. Low tonight of 9º.

Yeah, when it's too low for the salt to work anymore it really takes the wind out of the sails.

The DR350 rebuild is continuing nicely.  Over the past couple weeks, I've rebuild the front forks, rear shock, swing arm pivot and tore down the wheels to install new rims and spokes from DNA.  The exhaust has been sandblasted, cleaned and painted with Rustoleum spray bomb hi-temp gloss black.  Triples, skid plate, foot peg mounts and a few other pieces have been blasted and painted gloss black too.

The hubs will be going to school with me on Thursday for bead blasting and prep for their paint job.  Reassembly is about to commence.

A big box from Rocky Mountain ATV/MC just came yesterday with new tubes, rim strips, handlebars, grips and a few other necessities.

Mostly minor things to the bikes.  We got snow and ice yesterday.  I'm already wishing for spring so I can get out and ride more.

Put the wiring harness in the DR.  Now the fun begins.  Most of the new goodies are here.

Watched the rear tire pressure drop from 42psi to 31psi overnight.

Sounds like a slow night Stew
Next time try reading a good book, or playing on the internet

Seriously sitting around all night watching a tire leak   ;D

The KLR has the same issue, although I don't watch it I just find the tire flat
Think I will find & patch the leak in the tube

(stuck home with the the flue and am rather bored)

Well I wasn't "watching" it per se.  ;D

It felt a little squirrely on the way home last night. So I topped off the tire and checked it this morning. Down 11psi. Topped it off again to go to work. Just checked it at lunch....yup..down 3 psi.

I guess I know what I'm doing this evening.

Indeed. Found a small leak along the centerline and can actually make out the steel belt. Since these tires have nearly 11,000 miles on them, I might as well get new ones.

I guess Santa is bringing me a new set of Pilot Road 3's on Monday.   ;D

I rode it to work in the snow. TWs may be slow but they'll go anywhere.
