Never used CFE, but Hodgdon has data for 45acp and 10mm: http://www.hodgdonreloading.com/

If you need powder, you really can't be too picky in this market. Anything with the right burn rate can be made to work.

Others that might work for 9mm and 45acp are AA#5, Universal, HP-38(same as WW231), Power Pistol, WAP, WSF, VV N-330

For 10mm and 41 Mag try AA#7, AA#9, Blue Dot, 2400, Longshot, H110 or W296 for top loads in 41mag only, VV 3N38

Kinda why I bought 8 pounds of this stuff....3 gun shops  had it stocked....


So, if you can find some of this buy it.


Its a very small crushed dot powder that meters MOST excellently in my Lyman powder measure.


Very tight increments between min and Max charge on 45acp....7.4 to 8.2 on 200grain lswc...At 7.4 out of a Colt Gubbermint  the action only functions 3 of 5.....7.8 throws brass across the shooting range and 8.2 shows no pressure problems.....Nice flat primers and clean brass and barrel.No chrono available but above 7.6 shes shooting 1.5 inches at 10 yards....

Sweet spot for this lead seems to be 7.8.  will take chrono this time.


And I will load 10mm next.
