Best looking electric IMO.

Kinda breaks the Harley stereotype.

Wonder how long it takes to recharge?  I can't see me on one till range improves, but I could see me on one.

We stopped at Cooll Springs Exxon yesterday and some guy asked me if I knew anything about the new Harley electric. I'd hadn't heard about it yet. This guy doesn't even ride and said he was thinking about buying one.  I didn't think to advise him that motorcycles can be dangerous and loud pipes save lives.  LOL!

Like all electric scoots- if it came in at a decent price point I'd get one to use as a commuter.

That's it right there. I can't imagine an electric being my only bike until they deliver either 600 miles on a charge or a full charge in under 5 minutes. We're a long way from either of those scenarios. That being the case, an electric would be relegated to second bike, commuter status. They're too expensive for that right now. That'll change but we're not there yet.

Yup, I get frustrated when I get a slow pump and it takes 3 minutes to fill up.  These bikes are really useless for anything but short commutes at the moment.  I guess they need to start somewhere though.

There was a time (I don't remember it, but Cookie does) when gasoline powered vehicles were at a disadvantage . . . . few refueling stations, tempermental, short range . . . . . .steamers looked like the way forward, with electric cars for in town use . . . .

Tech has a habit of changing in way we don't predict ;-}
We had two bags of grass, 75 pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get locked into a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.

If it came at a good (affordable) price point it would be fun to have as a daily commuter.  The brand doesn't matter to me--only whether it is functional, reliable, and suites my needs.  It would be nice to see another option added to the market.

I think it looks great.  Talk about HD tapping a new market, this will not be for the core following.  I'm pretty sure I'll own an electric bike at some point in my life and if its an HD, I have no problem with that.
