I think you are preaching to the choir here. Every day is ride to work day, especially if you get rid of your car.

For the record, I don't ride to work. Between gearing up for only a 4 mile ride, less motorcycle parking, and droping off or picking kids up from school/summer care, riding to work isn't worth the hassle.

For me, only difference was even if it was raining in the AM, I would have ridden to work anyway. I usually drive if I'm getting wet on the way in - don't really care if I'm wet when I get home (and the gear works pretty well anyway...)

Slightly chilled this morning with the mesh jacket. I'm sure I'll be slightly sweaty by the time I get home.

I did actually ride today--a rarity given my responsibility for dropping the kids off at preschool/daycare (1 y/o and 3 y/o are not bike-compatible). Had to drop them off and then go back home to get the bike. Good ride in, at least.

I ride to work almost every work day (got to take the truck once and a while or the neighbors will think it has been abandoned)

Just got back from a 3k ride and then the weekend camping with kids, took an extra day to clean up and that turns out to be "Ride To Work Day" Dang Funny I say

Wow I rode to work like it was any other day....because it WAS....had no idea it was ride to work day. Guess that explains the one other bike I saw.

Yep I did. Had three other guys who normally ride only on occasional weekends said they would join me. Nope... Just me and the bikes that are there every day. Oh well. Took my last conference call via my cardo paired to the iPhone on the way home.

. Nobody even realized I was on the bike..
