Not as cool-looking as his last one:

But just a bit lighter and a whole lot more powerful and refined...

pricey, but I like it.

I hear ya Miles.  But I was not a fan of the pods.  We shall see what the AX brings.  That's the one I'm hoping has it all for me. Touring, 10% dirt worthy, 90% street.

I just installed lower bars on my Uly.  The original bars from the City-X.  I like it a lot more.

Let me tell you about the pods.  I crashed a friend's 1125CR and the left pod saved a huge amount of damage to other parts of the bike- and it was CHEAP to replace.

Personally I never understood the animosity to the look of the things, but I'll tell you- that pod saved my wallet thousands of dollars.    :bigok:

That may be, but it doesn't take away the fact that the pods were ugly.   :P :D

Framesliders do the same thing, are less expensive than pods, and look much better.

The humiliation I suffered that day will not go unpunished. My pain is the bubbling cauldron of molten steel that will forge the saber of your demise. I shall not be denied my vengeance Haa Ha Ha HaaHa Ha Ha Ha

Yeah I agree with Doug.  I'm glad that they served that purpose but in person they were scary ugly and huge.  However, this new ride unfortunately doesn't do it for me either.  The front "module" looks like a snow mobile. I am a huge fan of Erik Buell.  I am so excited for him and his employees.  But alas, that is not the bike for me.  Good on 'em though.  :bigok:
