I tried talking this up with the Region 4 crew that we saw this weekend at Clay-B-Que. I do hope some/any/all of them can make it!

Since I missed the spring meet, the National AND the cat-b-q, I guess I had better get my ass to this one, since it's right in my backyard....

Spent the day down in Hocking Hills last weekend. It was glorious, and the roads only get better as you go SE.

I'm in.

I was at the FJR SE Ohio ramble on the first weekend of May.  I got skunked out of the 2nd day of riding because I ate up my front tire (OEM's) on the first day and had to ride up to Iron Pony to get a freshie fitted. My bad, considering I had a fresh set of PR3's in the garage, my changer hadn't shown up yet...

The routes for the Ramble were scouted and plotted by DRC-32 who lives in Zanesville. They include all the freshly paved stuff and avoid the marginal stuff. He does GREAT routes. I rode the east route (east of I79) on the Saturday. So the west route will be new to me, though I ride down there often.

I'll make them available on my cloud account this weekend for your perusal.

I've put a call to some of the local FJR guys for the weekend as well.  Gee, my first ST.o meet. It'll be interesting to compare belly sizes... and meet Ed.

I wish I spent as much time riding as I have perusing gpx files.  Maybe there's a lesson here. 


Not that it will do me much good.   I'm something of a slow learner in some aspects.

FJR SE Ohio Ramble Route files (GPX) from our May Meet.

These were scouted and created by DRC-32 out of Zanesville. They include all the freshly paved goodness and, avoid all the craptacular rough roads.

Oh ya, one of the roads on the West route was flooded after a few days of rain prior to the meet. Who knew FJR's could float.
