Anyone use Plasti Dip on their bike to change the color? Im thinking about using blaze blue on the Versys. Cool thing is, if I dont like it I can peel it off.  8)

PlastiDip is WAY upscale to use on a KLR. Some old shoe polish and a roll of camo duct tape is all you ever need for a KLR.

Is this the spray-on stuff or the dip stuff you'd brush?

A gal in the jeep group uses the spray on stuff on her jeep's wheels. She says that it's quite decently durable and if she doesn't like it she can peel it off and change it.

I asked how well it stuck to the ?aluminum? wheels and she picked a few spots to pull it away - I was impressed at how well it resisted peeling - but once it started peeling it was easy enough to remove (it stayed in a single, elastic piece and didn't easily tear into small bits that would be more tedious to remove.).

My interest is piqued. I gotta do something before I show up at Clay's with a dirty/scratched bike. Which product were you talking about?

Spray on, I have had it on my Fiesta wheels for a while now. Stuff is tough as long as it stays in one piece.

I just borrow somebody's Sharpie.  That camo tape ain't cheap.

Know lots of guys on tacomaworld use it and really like it. Couple of guys on base use it on their jeeps and it holds up quite well.
