For those of you who have been following my ride report on the other site. I had a wheel bearing problem which was fixed but the bike is still in Nova Scotia.  I live in New Jersey.  I tried unsucsessfully to retrieve my bike last weekend.  Now I have to pay $90 plus a month to store it there.  I would like to sell it.  2009Thrust Blue Ulysses. EBR Race ECM, Drummer exhaust, K&n Filter, Aprillia mirrors, HVMP bar ends, Buell/Hepco and Becker side and top racks. Tall seat. Re-routed primary vent tube. Zumo Cradle hard wired to the battery.  A: Let me know if you think it is worth keeping there until the spring and have a second honeymoon with the wife and spend $600.00 in storage fees or B: Have the bike shipped back $$$$$, C:  Take my buddies advice and drive up and back in a weekend (yes the devil, If you have been reading my ride report) or D: Sell the bike.  $5800.00.  Let me know what you would do or if you are interested post up. Well the fact of the matter is, after much consternation, I just think I will keep the bike.  Here are a few reasons: 
1. The bike eats oil.  We can not find out where it goes.  Not burning it, nothing more than usual exhaust grit.
2. The primary vent tube is burnt and had to be re-routed to the back of the bike.
3. I have the new 2010 wheel kit sitting in my house that I bought for over $300.00
4. If all goes as planned I should be breaking a belt somewhere in Maine on the return ride home and I have not purchased a spare yet...I refer you to my ride report on the other website.  I just wouldn't want that to happen to one of you.
5. I just put a new EBR Race ECM ($300.00) and a Drummer exhaust with upgraded core wrap ($495.00) back in March or April.
6. It's paid for.
7. I would not feel comfortable selling it to one of you 'cause if something broke I would feel bad.
8. The swing arm will need to be replaced.
9.  I have yet to ride any other bike that gives me the same "out there" feeling as my two Buells have given me.

I will be traveling out there during spring break with my wife to finish that damn ride along the Cabot trail.  I will have a spare belt by then.  My wife and I will miss the bike too much.  It doesn't really have that many miles on it.  I got it for a steal during the fire sale of Buell and if I have to put more money into it, the way I look at it, I am still ahead. So there's that....
