I know a guy  who uses torrent finder once in a while. I've He's not had any problems with viruses or spyware. I have good antivirus software and it hasn't detected anything. As far as the legal ramifications I don't think " once in a while " is going to put you on anybody's radar.

You need a client to download the torrent. I use Tixati. From torrent finder click on the torrent and download the file. Open it with Tixati to start the torrent. Done.

I run torrent finder right from Firefox as an add on.

utorrent has worked well from the early days of torrents.

Just look up what you want on a tracker and download.

 

I've been Torrenting all the MotoGP races, as we don't get the EuroSport feed here in Canada.

I've used it a few times to get something that I had no other way of getting.  No problems, but I'm careful and don't do it often. 

Um...Pontiac made a Torrent for a while, but they aren't around any more.
