That was my first choice. None in stock so I picked up the Remington. This is still on the list. Very nice.

It was a little hard to come by. A local dealer sniffed one out and at a good price to boot. Cant wait to shoot it. Seems to be a very nicely executed .45 at the price with nice features and the slide/frame fitting seems very good. Comes with Novak sights, all the edges are smoothed out with the exeption of the ejection port, full beavertail grip safety, extended safety, narrow for carry, checkered rear grip strap, and the feed ramp is very nicely polished. Definitely appears to be in a higher class fit/finish/features-wise for the price.

I had a quick meeting with this dude Charlie today, he invited me to some big place in Spencer, MA to spend a day with some people. I just might have to swing by your place for a coffee.

I guess I can't bring the .45 to the state where the first armed group of citizens started our great nation. How ironic.

Nice guy that Charlie is. I bet I'll get a great lunch out of the deal. It was a gracious offer and I am interested in going.
