It depends on the location and circumstances. She did say she was making a left in half a mile. With left turns looking pretty regular, I'd go with the guy being an impatient idiot.

In the city, with turn lanes, I don't have any bother with folks rolling in the left lane.

He/She vid'd the speedo at 55/60 (MPH) so he likely wasn't rolling under the limit.

This is local to me so it's been pretty big here. Some people were complaining that she sped up but that was also where the speed limit increased. I saw her (the filmmaker) on the local news last night and she said she never took her eyes off the road, just held up the phone. Reports also stated that he took off before police showed up. They found him two days later and arrested him.

Well if this was in Florida that explains it.

Thanks Florida.   ;)

Carl... I think we are in the minority, but I agree. The left lane is for passing thing does not apply on four lane roads with left turn lanes at every intersection. You can see a bunch of them in her short video. With that said... as I have said before... life is short... let the idiot pass and be done with him.

I completely agree. On the highway, left lane means go. Four lane with a turning lane, not so much.

I listened carefully to the audio and it doesn't sound like she "speeded-up" a lot either. It looks like he - the idiot in the truck - slowed down to make sure she saw his hand gesture.

Lol....my bad! I believe they said only increases 10 mph so I didn't think it was that much.

Im quick to judge but they're both idiots IMO*.

The pickup driver needs no explanation but here's what bothers me about the woman:

1.  Holding cell phone upright to video creating an unwatchable tall video.  Hold the damn thing sideways please.

2.  The yellow construction vest draped over the passenger seat.

3.  Dice and whatever else hanging from the rearview.

*Havent had any coffee yet so Im irritable.
