** Spoilers **

BMW for value and the fact you can "go really fast without shitting your pants."

I'd still want the big twin Super Duke.

I have a deposit down on both bikes. I was all about the KTM, but then saw that the BMW has a lot of desirable features the KTM lacks- small stuff like a quick shifter and big stuff like DDC electronic suspension. The BMW's killer app though, is true cruise control.

You're probably right.  riding a bike that had scary potential appealed to me at some point in my life.  Now it's just scary.

Indeed.  It's always good to have that option.

A speaker at a conference I attended was an A-10 pilot. he said when he asked his instructor about the gun he was told "the first time you fire it is like having an orgasm and shitting your pants at the same time"  for some reason that sounded like a good thing to me??

it depends if you are in race leathers or not...
You may find yourself living in a shotgun shack  -You may find yourself in another part of the world
You may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile- You may find yourself in a beautiful house with a beautiful wife-
You may ask yourself, well, how did I get here?
