I've been trying to talk a buddy into buying this since last October.  He's a new rider and this would be a great beginner's bike IMO.  Tractable, easy to handle, forgiving enough to start out easy on and build up to the full use of a 650 twin when he's ready.  He wants a sportier ride.

He's got his eye on a Street Triple RR.  Can't convince him this would be a better starter in so many ways.

I even offered to show him this great loop over 641.  I'll give it another plug.  Good luck with the sale.

This would be rite up his alley since he is getting out of motorcycles.

I honestly thought this had sold already. I really like these bikes - I'm an SV-aholic for years now. Best of luck with the sale, and I'll spread the word on it.

I really like the looks of the Gladius,  until I sat on one. my boney butt does NOT like the seat, even sitting in the dealership. :(  SV based platforms are so stout.

There are lots of options to improve the seat.

true, but if it don't work out of the box, not buying. never bought an aftermarket seat and probably never will. just me. got other things i want to spend money on (what lil I have). it would be a LONG time I might have to deal with a bad seat. I'd probably sell the bike before I bothered getting a new seat. Every bike I've owned has had nary a butt prob even after putting a nice short 250-350 mile ride on for the day. Except for the latest bike since I haven't had a chance to put on more than 50 miles at a time. dang weather. I doubt my current seat will be a prob.
