Craigslist Platinum
« on: November 11, 2013, 03:36:43 PM »
This guys knew exactly what he was doing.

http://nashville.craigslist.org/mcy/4185613565.html

My wife wants for me to sell my toy. So here goes.
My 1993 BMW is in terrible shape. As you can see in the pictures.
I have tipped the bike over at least 4 times, there is scatches from this on the luggage bag and the left mirrow. One of the the panels is held on with chicken wire.
The mileage is extreme, coming up on 14,000 miles. Would like to get $25,000.00.
Would probally accept first offer over $6,000.00

There's a guy I run into occasionally on 33 with a first gen 'Wing. It's clean, naked (as it should be) and has nice set of shorty carbon cans. It sounds wonderful, and he rides the piss out of it. Last time I talked to him he was telling me about his glaucoma, and the related medication.

Selling a 2001 R6. Issues with the bike as is right now is the lighting needs to be worked out. I have LED lights for the bike but factory's may need to be purchased unless you can figure out how to work it. Master Brake Cylinder needs to be replaced. I have all other parts for the bike: fairings(Black), mirrors, new pegs, windshield, and a list of other parts. This bike just needs someone who has the time and the know how to fix her up. Engine runs great but has been sitting for about 2 months now. Battery is dead at this point so that will need to be purchased too. Any questions about the bike ask me and I will tell you everything I know about the bike. Bought it as a project but with work and everything else just never could get the time to really sit and fix it. Great bike for someone to fix up and start riding by spring time. Text or email me if you require more pictures or want to stop by and check it out let me know the pics in the post do not show everything attached as it is all in the garage. Price is firm paid 1800 for it and with all the extra parts I bought just want to make something back from what I have spent so far. 3027470938

Super smooth engine, dead reliable, comfortable. Not a bike that you see customized often, and even the bad customs still look pretty cool.

As for looks, who knows? Why do I like the looks of 70s and 80s kawasakis but not suzukis? Why do I prefer redheads over all others? Who knows. I like 80s wings. Gold, silver, whatever. One day I may even have one.

Don't need them. Second disk is just extra weight. Straight line, 9 - 10 secs, slow down, park the bike. Repeat half an hour later, or more, have a few, go home.
Ride safe!

Depends on your commute. I'm only 4.7 miles from work so the 'busa is a bit underwhelmed by the commute. I'll make a left instead of a right and take the long way home from time to time. :)

I should have said super sports make crappy commuters. Small tanks, no comfort, expensive tires that square off, etc. I commuted on my F4i for a year. It was ok but any more sport would have been unacceptable.

1978 Yamaha XT500, mostly original, runs good, street legal with TITLE - $1500 (Jefferson MD)

http://images.craigslist.org/00w0w_26d6er5142p_600x450.jpg
I'm selling my 1978 Yamaha XT 500 dual sport / enduro bike. It is almost all original, still has all of the indicators and lights, and has 10,100 miles on it. I have the clear title. This bike runs good and is pretty easy to start. This bike has the sought after alloy gas tank, but as can be seen in the photos, it has some slight dents in the right hand side. The tank is perfect on the left side. Overall, the bike is in good condition. Call me at 240-285-6201 to arrange to come see the bike. NO TRADES, CASH ONLY, FIRM PRICE.

I'm also selling my 1977 XT500. It is the original brown color and has 5,200 miles. I have a clear title for this one too. It's also $1500, and listed on Craigslist here:
http://frederick.craigslist.org/mcy/4261370530.html

Much as I love my KLR project that I bought last spring, I really should have bought this 2nd owner, '82 1200 Aspencade with 54K on the clock for $1,200.

I'm selling one ninja 500 cc motorcycle for $4500.00 dollars. Also included is one Olds. Aurora, 2 helmets, and one Joe Sprocket jacket. Motorcycle is a 2009 with 5300 miles. Bike was purchased with service contract and is full maintained at dealership. Never raced, crashed or laid down. Packaged price is firm!

There are no pics of the Olds. I'm guessing it's a real shit heap that can't be unloaded by any other means.

I wonder if the Joe Sprocket jacket will fit me.  I think I'll ask him.

Still likely a shitheap, but it doesn't look terrible from the back. Not enough Olds Auroras around for the one in the background with paint peels all over it to NOT be the one...

Yeah, missed it.

Is it wrong I'm tempted to check in to it and see exactly how bad the car is?
