your advice has always been great in the past, so: Heading to Nashville for work, I will be at the Nashville Music city center (?) but will have some free time. What are your recommendations for entertainment? thanks in advance

There is one happening main street between Sheraton downtown and the football stadium that has lots of bara and people. There is also a kick are Thai restaurant across from the stadium called Thai Poon I think. Looks run down, huge fenced in parking lot but the food is very good if you like Thai.

Is most of your free time going to be after hours, and will you be walking? If you like music, Broadway and Second Ave have tons of honky tonks. Last time I was kicking around downtown the best were on Broadway.

I had one of the best steaks of my life in Demos downtown Nashville.

Everyone else in our party really enjoyed their meals as well.

Demos is good, but the best steaks are at the Palms. As long as you're eating on someone else's tab.

Our favorite hole in the wall in Nashville:

Go there for the music & booze.  Seek food elsewhere.

To die for. When we wrapped it up the tab for 6 of us was over $1000.
