30th Anniversary R1200gs Adventure for sale.

painful to write, but......

hurting like crazy, disability pay leaves a lot to be desired, and its unclear when and if I'll ride again. If I do, it will be on a new water cooled GS Adventure. And its probably more than a year out. Getting epidurals and some PT now, crossing fingers that i'll be able to ride and work again as a fireman.

As such: 2010 R 1200gsa Adventure (30th anniversary special edition) With a 7 year warranty - so we should be able to transfer it with 3.5-4 years remaining( i haven't looked into transferring it or what costs if any there might be). Factory hard luggage- (no topcase)

Cruz tool kit and some other goodies will be included along with what you see below:

R1200gsa 2010 (37,680 miles) Cee Bailey screen, Handlebar Risers, Russell Day long seat, Foam grips, Rka Tailbag, RKA luggage Liners, RKA topper bags, TT Headlight Guard, TT oil cooler guard, TT gas can mount, TT gas can, TT Dual MSR holders (Oil and final drive oil holders), TT MSR Cans (oil and final drive containers), TT Cockpit with outlet, TT cockpit front piece,

Box of all original stuff included,

And my "ride on" full bike lift - you supply the air compressor(its not a handy, but its been a good lift for 7 years or so.

Will consider RKA IN charge bag with all the goodies in it for the asking price ( 2000.00 NEW) Garmin 665 SENA Bluetooth headset never installed as it was part of a dual set and my wife hasn't rode since I went bluetooth(Sena SPH 10), Sena SR10, and other goodies.

I don't need to get rid of it, but I'd like to so please don't lowball me or give me any BS.

This is a very nice, well equipped and taken care of special edition GS Adventure. I've been an active member of STN, ADV Rider, and have worked with RKA luggage in the past at bike shows and in forums as USAMEDIC or USA_MEDIC. Ive rode over 1,200,000 miles on bikes, of which over 1,000,000 was on 6 bmw's. They are all still be rode today, and one is near a half million miles. None of my bikes have ever had critical failures and all have been maintained by myself, or San Jose BMW. This bike has been cared for by myself and an excellent mechanic in Santa Rosa, CA(former BMW factory trained mechanic/dealer mechanic who has been great with my 1200).

I'll provide additional picture upon request.

ISSUES - None -

that said the seat is built for me and I am 6'4". If your not 6'2" or better you probably won't be able to touch the ground flat foot, and maybe even tough it at all.Its a tall bike with a tall seat. used russell seat sell well however and you should be able to get more than enough to replace with a stocker and or a corbin or something else.

Couple scratches on a right side crash bar and right case "touched down" in dirt once.
