I am Doctor Death
« on: February 02, 2014, 02:31:09 PM »
Another friend has died. Paul and I used to hang out together a lot in the late 70's early 80's, then I went home to Wales for a few years-when I came back, Paul was a heroin addict.

His parents were always very cold and disapproving toward him. It was only when they died he discovered he was adopted.

My memories of Paul include his love of shite old Britsh bikes and his collection of rubbish Fiat 500's.

I remember following him on my POS Yamaha XS 250 on his last Dominator 600. An old bloke in a Reliant Robin drove out in front of him. There was no way he could stop, but he managed to get the front wheel up and go over the frame of the 3 wheeler, leaving a cartoon shaped man and bike hole just behind the driver's seat. He was wearing an open face (as was I) and he came through the other side of the Plastic Pig seriously bloodied. I pissed myself laughing,

We lost touch for several years, as heroin had become his friend. He was a great guy away from the smack.

RIP Paul Mace.

Sorry for your loss Papa. He lives on now with your love of him.

Sorry for your loss.

I've outlived too many friends, too many addicts.

Sorry, man. It hurts to lose peers and friends.

Sorry for your loss - you are having a very rough time recently.
You may find yourself living in a shotgun shack  -You may find yourself in another part of the world
You may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile- You may find yourself in a beautiful house with a beautiful wife-
You may ask yourself, well, how did I get here?

Stand tall Pop . . . . . he was lucky to have you in his life.
We had two bags of grass, 75 pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get locked into a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.

And yet another.

After Kevin's death the other day, this is not a death report.

Vanessa, my sister in law's partner, has terminal liver cancer. Jane and I fell out a couple of years ago when she got very drunk and violent. All that is petty stuff now. I'm here for both of them.

Bollocks, bollocks, bollocks. Life can be a shit sometimes.
