Parker, CO...How is it?

The Marine nephew's posting came up. That's where he is going. Any good information about do and don't or places to avoid or anything that a new resident should consider during research?  Insider info is always good and this place is always good for providing it. We are excited for them and can't wait to get them into the mtns to play. They have three boys so I see little dirt bikes and quads or a SxS in their future.  Hope they get a place with a big flat driveway for our camper.

What say you current and former Coloradoans?

Parker Co, TX?  It's rural and I knew a couple of people who lived there. Seemed nice.

So, he's a Marine recruiter?  That's the only duty station I see there.  Wish I could help ya out, but I try to avoid huge cities like Denver unless family.

I was gonna suggest that the Little Russian Café in downtown Denver is a great place to go.  My sis-in-law was a regular, and a waiter named Pasha called her "Blondie" and gave us extra rounds of vodka.  But they appear to have closed. 

I recall another thread where I wanted to recommend a bar in St. Paul only to check it's website and find it also had closed.

Y'all need to quit asking for recommendations before every bar and restaurant I've ever liked will close.
