I see it all the time, thieves have no care of getting caught, and if they do only a ticket to appear in court. DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING IN THE CAR, ANYTHING! I know someone who just leaves the doors unlocked, got tired of replacing the glass.

When I worked in Newark, NJ the glass replacement guys
knew me on a first name basis.  :facepalm:

That's what I do. I never leave anything in the car worth stealing, and I'd just as soon the scrots didn't break a window to find out.
