Sunsetter Awnings
« on: August 15, 2020, 01:07:54 PM »
Anyone have a Sunsetter Awning? We have a full southern exposure, great for the veggie garden, not so great for sitting outside on hot days. I can get one from Costco with all the bells and whistles for $2765. delivered, I'll just have to rope my son-in-laws into hanging it for us, so $2765 plus a case of beer and some pizza..

They look like they work pretty well, anyone have an opinion on them

:headscratch:

Don't have one yet but Kim has done massive research and concluded that will be the one when the time comes.  Our garage is the same way. Sun violates late afternoon garage time. Would also be handy  for rain as well.

Neighbor has had one for probably 4 years so far?  Still looks good and looks like it's working fine.

Sheri and I have had one for several years now.  We put it out every sunny day to block sunlight from hearing up our living room.  It still looks and works great.  The only thing I've done to it, so far, is replace the batteries in the wind sensor.  You need the wind sensor, don't skip that.  ;)

I believe Cookie has one as well.

Yes, the one I ordered has a wind sensor and the aluminum hood and LED lights., we got the Motorized XL, 20 ft x 11.8 ft so it'll cover about half the back patio
