Friday livestream happy hour via Zoom @5:30 Eastern.
« on: March 25, 2020, 09:04:09 PM »
Who's in?  I can host.  Does 5pm Eastern time work or should we push it back for the west-coasters?

Once we get a time set I can get your emails via PM and send a link...

That's only 2 in the afternoon for us here on the West Coast.  I'd be happy to hour, but unlike some I still have to work.

Can we bump it back a couple of hours?

I like this idea, but it conflicts with a family zoom meeting that involves alcohol also. but please add me to the list.

Make sure it gets recorded.  It'll take me a couple days to watch it as it loads about 1K a minute.  :(

Happy hour doesn't have to only be an hour long. We could start at 5 eastcoast time and carry on until late in the night so the left coasters can join.  And if it goes late enough maybe some one in Hawaii can join in.

If you are interested, PM your email.  Let's start at 5:30.  I'll be glad to host, and I'll be in and out I'm sure.

I even purchased Gin and Tonic for four from our local micro-distillery in preparation.  Gotta support the local businesses in these times!  Ordered online, a guy brought it out to my truck when I pulled in.

I may just open it up early depending on what I have going.  Maybe I'll even shower first!

OK, looks like there is a ZOOM app for the iPad, if I can get it to work.

I have enough Campari left for one last round of Negronis.

I've got enough WIFI to reach the garage and driveway.

Maybe I'll go out and ride in.  Be like real motorcycle meet.  'Cept I don't have to roll-out at 5:30 AM.

Honestly, who cares. FB already knows more about you than you think. One more conference call isn't going to change a damned thing. The general populace have already lost the privacy wars; we're just too stubborn, collectively, to accept that and act on it now. People still think there's validity in prevention. It's a joke.

Oh, I agree.  That just happened to pop up in my news feed after I downloaded the app.

Coincidence?

I installed the ZOOM app on my iPad.  I have Zoom on my work computer; I don't think this use would be looked favorably upon.

Also, I was very disappointed that the taco place wouldn’t let me carry out margaritas. I guess I’ll just have to do tequila shots here.

It's kind of sad it takes this for us all to have a beer or pop together.

Or you could just show up to one of the meets we go to....just saying.  :twofinger:

It's not like WV is very far away.  :-\

There is so much drunkenness happening as Casa de Cablebandit happening tonight. The STorg HH was just the beginning. One of our favorite podcasts had a live stream HH afterward...then our favorite morning show, Free Beer and Hot Wings, started a live stream. We have the BIG bottle of Elijah Craig and he's going down like <insert vulgar metaphor here>.
I used to make a bigger impression.

Speak for yourself, that would take me 3 days of mind numbing highway and without getting high!
Freedom without regulations that protect the general good is nothing less than anarchy by the rich.
