I watched Mr. Right with Sam Rockwell and Anna Kendrick.

Utterly charming film.

Also, the rest of my company is learning just how hard it is to be the hermit in the dark, always working, doing the things that need to be done without constantly being out and running from place to place. I'd had a number "Man, I don't know how you do this." and "Thank you for doing all this and not going crazy." I can't say I'm not at least a little crazy, but it's nice to know others are learning what that's like :D

I've also been cooking more lately, and that's nice. I enjoy cooking, but i haven't done much of it the last few years. I just don't work weekends or later evenings any more. I just refuse for a lot of reasons.

I parked my road bike, and went in to sit on the couch to “surf”.
There was a woman sitting there...said she was my wife.
She seems nice.

I'm going to mount an all out search of the garage to see once and for all if 10mm sockets simply "get lost" somewhere or if they actually disappear?

Get a set of 10mm only sockets. Should last at least a couple of weeks.

I lost two neighbors and a hired hand on that same quest. Sad.

I got on amazon to just buy more sockets. I have many. I expect that number to be zero by this time next year, but what a great year it's going to be.

Can't do much about the people, though. Sad.

I learned what I already intellectually knew about my wife, but perhaps not emotionally...  and I quote:

"I'm terribly on the fence about panic buying ammo"
Her response:
"Up to you. I support whatever you need to do to help yourself feel secure. Today, vegetables helps me."

Who would ever have known that celery, tomatoes, bell peppers and lemons would provide clarity during the apocalypse?

I have had a bit of the sniffles and a dry cough for a week or two, and being on immunosuppressant drugs it happens often. Doc always wants me to call and let her know, this time she had a different response.....  Even if I am "essential personal" I am now stuck at home until the test comes back.
I think I will clean out the office or maybe the garage, time to find the lost tools. Oh wait I have a wash that just finished perking, time to run the still  :)  at least I won't have to be stuck in the house sober for long  :snork:

My daughter is turning in to a baking maniac.  Wife bought 50 lbs of flower (it was the only size laft- came in two 25 lb bags), and my daughter is making various cookies and breads every day.  At this moment she's using the cookie cutters to form them!

An online, like live with video, video conference kinda thing? My home desktop doesn't have a camera on it. There's an old one that I used for grad school in a drawer or box somewhere.

Still going to work, but traffic is lighter than usual. Although being near D.C. I would assume there are a lot of government workers and military that are considered essential services so there are still more vehicles on the road than I thought there would be.

I've been working on a pan off resto of my Baja Bug for the past few years, I found a 7mm SK socket in the bottom of the A pillar/door frame that my dad blamed me for losing. Funny thing is, he bought the car in the late 70's, I got the car from him about 25 years ago and I'm pretty sure he's the one that lost it there.
A plan is just a list of things that doesn't happen.

Liz and I were sitting around the this morning and came up with a story idea, so I had to sit down and photoshop it out of my head. :)

The year is 1878. Sherlock Holmes has heard the tales of the mysterious Lady Armadillo, a reclusive wagtail living and operating in the American frontier. Holmes goes to America to investigate, but the Lady A. is not what he was expecting.

The Case of Lady Armadillo is set in Deadwood, South Dakota, and stars Robert Downy Jr. as Sherlock Holmes, Ian Mcshane reprising his role as Al Swearengen, with the legs of Anna Kendrick and an armadillo co-starring as Lady Armadillo.
