Strangely, I had a sore arm the second day after the first shot. About 8 hours after the second I began to feel like I was coming down with something - kind of headachy and low energy - lasted through the next day, but the arm was fine. Pretty minor and didn’t interfere with activities.

I’d like to see our local positivity rate back down below 2% where it was last Spring.  Right now our local health officials say that bringing it down to 5% would be a huge victory.  Too many people here have lockdown fatigue.

This without a doubt, all you have to do is look at what people are doing,and a lot are not following guidelines in this country. Or playing the game,wear the mask to get in the door then take it off till you checkout.
Being self centered at its best,all because they don't want to,like a 4 year old.

Exactly.  Of all the people I personally know who caught COVID, the only one who was always prudent is a COVID ward nurse.  The rest would mask up at work or school, but frequently had and went to maskless gatherings.  The thing that confuses me is how they would go right back to it as soon as they were deemed to be recovered.

Upon reflection , you are correct, its not acting like a 4 year old , its acting like an irresponsible A-hole adult.I see very young children wearing a mask, no drama quite often. Amazing the standard some of the "adults" want to set.

We lost my father in law last week and my across the street neighbor the week before.  It is still a very real risk despite the recent improvement in some of the statistics.

Dead now, seems to be from complications from vaccine.  She went in to the emergency room 3 days after took him a week to fail.
