ZZ Top: That Little Ol' Band from Texas. Documentary on Netflix. Very enjoyable. Other than a few minutes of Frank Beards drug addiction, there was no over the top drama. Just an interesting watch of how they came together and grew. Still love their music. If you have seen it, is it just me or does Frank Beard sound like Forest...Forest Gump.
A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. Very touching story and innovative filmmaking. Worth a watch. Also read the Esquire article. Powerful.
6 Underground on Netflix. Good action film.
Quote from: maddjack on March 29, 2020, 09:08:35 AM6 Underground on Netflix. Good action film.We watched that too. It looks like they set it up for sequels. Could you tell it was directed by Michael Bay just from the action scenes? I guessed partway in when there was an overwhelming sensation of "where's the giant robot cars?"
Also watched "Spitfire, The plane that saved the world" Nice documentary on the famed plane and the pilots that flew them. https://www.netflix.com/title/81189396Both were interesting films.
Mr Right on Netflix. A dark comedy with a ton of shoot em up action. Well worth a watch.

CB and I watched "The Departed" Saturday night. Some how we just hadn't seen it yet! I enjoyed it. One of our favorite podcasts uses several drops from the movie on their soundboard because the one host is a HUGE RAT. I chuckled when those scenes played out. "There is a rat in your unit; that is a fact!""I got this rat...this gnawing, cheese eating, fucking rat."My 7 YO niece is after me to watch "Onward" on Disney+. She watched it last weekend. Her official review is "I just have to tell you that I LOVED IT." I'm still on my MCU chronology journey. Next up is "Black Panther." I really enjoyed "Dr. Strange" last week.
Currently, Jesus Christ Superstar (73)

"The Siege of Jadotville" on Netflix. It all comes down to the money in this movie. Human life doesn't mean shit. If half of what happens in this movie is actually true, these guy's are amazing. https://www.netflix.com/title/80041653

Made me dislike the Ford Corp even more for the way they treated Miles.
