I thought T:R was the best of the Thor movies yet. It continued the great character interactions that Joss Whedon captured in the Avengers "Puny God" moment.

Saw this last night for you Roger Coreman fans.

I watched it.  Yeah, that was some great 70's cheese.

Here's the Youtube trailer.   It's loosely based (very loosely) on the old Robert Urich TV series.

Found it! Thanks. Streaming interface sucks. Instead of "finding" the search and presenting it, it puts a poster up; lost in the morass of other posters you never asked for.

We saw "Knives Out" on Christmas Day followed by copious amounts of General Tso's Chicken and fried rice...which, coincidentally, is on tonight's menu albeit homemade this time...but I digress! We both thoroughly enjoyed "Knives Out."

"The Gentlemen" was just mentioned at the tail-end of my favorite podcast; two of the three hosts have seen it and the third is planning to watch it this weekend. I believe they plan to discuss it next week, so perhaps that will find its way onto our screen this coming weekend.
I used to make a bigger impression.

Not a movie but a comedy special,

Titus - Amerigeddon

Funny and surprisingly on point.

I've got The Gentlemen on the want to watch list.  We saw Knives Out in theaters and liked it, but expected more.

As for Tiger King?  I won't say that I truly watched it, but I did have it streaming on a laptop next to me while working from home.  So it was more white noise than anything.  But the whole time it ran, I just kept wondering to myself, THIS is what all the hype over?  Have I just not gotten the good part(s) yet?

That may have been one of the last movies my brother and I saw in the theater. We both left smiling.

Walmart was out of Sno-Caps (the horror!) and CB wasn't feeling popcorn for Saturday. NEVERTHELESS, we watched "The Gentlemen." What a fantastic movie! I thoroughly enjoyed it!!! Hugh Grant will first and foremost always be the Prime Minister to me, but I f'loved him as Fletcher. The movie had a stellar cast and the perfect amount of wit.

Riddle me this...WHY does the C-word sound like a term of endearment in a British, Irish, or Scottish accent?!? It just sounds so affable and pleasant coming from Charlie Hunnam or Colin Farrell.

I'd give it five pineapples out of five - funny, well-cast, great pace, engaging plot, well-produced, and I even enjoyed the Toddlers' rap songs!

My other forum has a Code of Conduct.  Once of the original rules was no swearing.

The Aussies protested because the C-word was on the list.  They did not consider it as such.

We no longer have a no swearing rule there.

We watched SIDE EFFECTS this weekend and I was shocked how good it was. I have never heard of it but we searched by critics choice and it had good reviews so we gave it a shot. Man! So good. It reminded me of the sleeper movie NEXT THREE DAYS, which is another favorite of mine. I like movies that I can't figure out. Both of these had me spinning.

I enjoyed it, but they telegraphed the end soooooooo much.

We watched Ford v. Ferrari for family movie night last Friday.  It was excellent.

I also just caught up on Season 9 of Call the Midwife.  I'm a complete and utter sucker for that show. :'(

I've been watching Top Gear re-runs on Amazon Prime. I'm up to season 9 already, I remember most of the episodes but they're still fun to watch.

They're all on Prime, plus specials. You have to pay for season 1 , 2 & 3, I think the rest are included with a Motortrend package. Plus a bunch of other car stuff like Wheeler Dealers and so on. Plus all the neck tattoo/ humungo beard chopper bullshit.

Good to know. I've been missing the good older episodes. BTW if you know which season/episode it is where James gets his shoulder or arm messed up and has to drive one handed, and they fit a dildo on the steering wheel for him to use as a handle... I just about peed myself laughing at the look on his face on that one. LOLOL

Semi-auto-biography of RoseMarie on Amazon Video; 'Wait for your Laugh'.
Fascinating!!
She was singing for audiences at 3 - singing like a woman, not a little girl.
She found out as a young lady that the Mob was keeping an eye on her career - because her dad was an 'influencer' (which she didn't know before).  She rubbed elbows with some big names of 'the family'.
She was on Gunsmoke.
She never bonded with Mary Tyler Moore on the Dick Van Dyke show.
She was a hard worker her whole life.
Life is made up of moments, small pieces of glittering mica in a long stretch of gray cement. We have to teach ourselves how to make room for them, to love them, and to live, really live. - Anna Quindlen

Saw that RM film. Good stuff. Clearly a tribute to her before she passed, type project.

I was surprised that it wasn't until season 3 before they killed off the original Stig.

The Iceman (2012)

I found it VERY engaging.

Yeesh.  Now watch the interviews with the real Kuklinski (YouTube). That will really creep you out.

that guy is creepy for sure!

Gemini Man with Will Smith. Decent action movie. I'll give it an extra point for the Moto content chase scene with a couple Honda dual sports

Re-watched the original Mad Max (1971). Man they were all younger back then.
